Some people have opinions, and some people have convictions......! What we offer is PERSPECTIVE!

THE LEFT WING IS CRAZY. THE RIGHT WING SCARES THE SHIT OUT OF ME!

That wasn't the dog!

With the new social distancing laws it's only possible to get two or three people inside an elevator.

With this small number, you would think the odds of someone farting in there would be mighty slim indeed!

Well, the laws of probability caught up with me yesterday when some guy I was sharing the elevator with not only farted.. but then gave ME a dirty look!

The average human farts about eight times per day — and the sometimes stinky deed can provide us with quite a bit of information about our own bodies.

There are several sources of the gas that likes to announce itself at inopportune moments, including swallowing air as we eat and the waste from bacteria in our digestive system.

Dietary fibre and starches are a common cause of the build-up of gas in our intestines.

The stomach and small intestine are largely unable to break these carbohydrates down, so it is left to the bacteria in the small intestine. As they work, the bacteria expels gas, which is then released as a fart.

Some researchers believe withholding farts, and the resultant pressure increase in your rectum is a factor in diverticulitis, a condition where small sacs form in the wall of the large intestine.

Taking pride in what you produce is not only helpful in relieving discomfort in the present moment but is also protective in the long run.

Studies have shown that shame in talking about bodily functions with healthcare professionals poses a significant barrier to proper care.

So go ahead and stop blaming it on the dog... take credit for what is rightfully yours.

Your future health may depend on it... and your peace-of-mind and general outlook on life will definitely improve when you learn how to become less anal-retentive!

The way I see it anyway!
