Why don't more Canadians move to the United States?

In my case, I was born in the USA, so it really would simply be a matter of moving.

But I have no interest.

I really don’t care about lower taxes or cheaper cars or bigger houses.

Instead I care about safe and healthy communities, good education, respect for my fellow citizens, and being a good world citizen.

And I put my money where my mouth is, too: I renounced my American citizenship a quarter century ago, and have never once regretted it.
