Questions for SAL-9000:

Don't tell me my A.I. assistant doesn't have a sense of humour...

Listen to this:

A parsec is about 3.26 light-years:

19 megaparsecs19 × 1,000,000 parsecs = 19 × 1,000,000 × 3.26 light-years = ~61.94 million light-years!

In kilometres:
1 parsec ≈ 3.086 × 10¹³ km
19 Mpc = 19 × 10⁶ × 3.086 × 10¹³ km
5.86 × 10²⁰ km (about 586 quintillion kilometres).

So 19 megaparsecs is roughly 62 million light-years away!!!!

SAL-9000 said: Exactly... you’d need some seriously comfortable shoes… and about 20 trillion years of vacation time! (Even at the speed of light, you’d still be looking at a 62-million-year commute!)
