The United States and coalition forces used thousand of Afghani's as interpreters and general helpers during the twenty years that we were involved in that war.
During this time promises were made to the Afghan nationals that they would not be left behind when the coalition troops decided to leave...., but because of foot dragging by the States that is exactly what seems to be happening... putting thousands of lives at great risk just for helping US out! (The Taliban will kill them all!)
Since time is of the essence Canada, as usual, has stepped forward and offered to take those people (and their families) that are at risk so there is not a repeat of what happened in Saigon at the end of the Vietnam war!
Let's see if we can get this thing organized a little bit better than it has been so far!
