Sitting up here in the Great White North the subject of guns doesn't seem to come up very often...and when it does it's because someone will be talking about hunting season.
BUT: South of the border the subject of guns is deadly serious and it's not unusual to see a guy with an assault rifle strapped to his back as he makes his way to the local protest!
SORRY, WHAT WAS THAT AGAIN?
Yup... lots of people go to protest rallies in their town and they will have an assault riffle slung over their shoulder.

Now I have to tell you something about how this would be handled up here kids!
As soon as a cop saw this guy,,, or a citizen saw him and dialed 911.. there would be a SWAT team on the way! (Unless the guy was very cooperative he would probably be 'tits-up' on the pavement in short order!)
Why someone would go to a potential riot with an assault rifle on them is an indication of just how nuts the United States Of America has become!
And the fact that they are not immediately shot says a lot more!
We have about as many hunters by percentage of the population the the States does folks.
BUT: Legal hand guns are almost impossible to get and assault rifles are restricted to the military.
And that's where they should stay!
What really got me today when they showed a video of that white militia kid who shot three people and when the cops came he put his hands in the air... only to have the boys in blue ignore him as they roared by to get to the scene of the crime!
I guess I only have one thing to say about ll this folks.
You people really know how to have a good time down there!
