Two things to tell you about here..., and they are connected so bear with me.
Whenever I get a little stressed or bored I like to hop in the car and go for a drive around town. It's such a sweet and restful feeling listening to the radio and having no one to disturb my thoughts and feelings as I meander here and there in the city while attaining my inner peace!
BUT1
I also have a weak bladder PLUS I am taking water pills for a mild case of C.O.P.D. so needless to say I am constantly looking for places to have a quick whiz during my tavels.
It got to the point where I can name you places behind grocery stores or the back of strip plazas or behind factories and garages that are suitable for a quick, uninterrupted pee and I make full use of them in my wanders around town.
However:
My favourite spot has got to be in the local cemetery about 5 miles down the road from where I live because it's not only handy but it's quiet and peaceful as well!
Today the urge to urinate overcame me as I was near the cemetery so I dutifully pulled into the front gate when I was stopped by some guy taking information about who came and went because of the COVID lockdown. (I assume I'm still allowed to drive around by myself!)
When the guard asked me if I was coming in to visit a friend or relative I had this overpowering urge to say to him: "No, I'm just coming in to have a leak!" 😁(But thought better of it since stuff like that has escalated on me to the point where cops got involved...,) so I just sheepishly said: "Yes!"
(I should also mention that this cemetery also has a herd of wild deer living on the property so I often drive in there just to visit them, and that's what I did today as well. And a quick whiz!)
On the way out some minutes later, the guy at the gate looked at me as I was slowly driving past him so I said to him:
"Well, he's still there!"
