Down Under!

 It seems that things are getting really rank in California for a lot of celebrities..., what with earthquakes and fires and high taxes and general bureaucratic foul-ups (it took Bill Maher 1137 days to get his home solar system approved by the local government) so a lot of them are bailing to more congenial surroundings!

A lot of them were coming to..., or coming back to Canada, but now the destination of choice seems to be Texas or Australia!

Texas I can see because the taxes are so much lower there..., but Australia is on the other side of the world..., and that might be just the reason they're all going there!

The way I see it anyway!

A celebrity in the hand is worth two in the bush!

 Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, a self-proclaimed political independent and centrist, publicly endorsed a presidential candidate for the first time on Sunday, announcing via his social media platforms that he will vote for Joe Biden and Sen. Kamala Harris in the 2020 general election.

After this earth-shattering news, we have to ask ourselves why a celebrity endorsement means squat in this election or any other endeavour where we are required to voice an opinion!

A celebrity doesn't have any inside information or a greater insight into any issue so why the hell we should value their opinion is beyond me..., yet the media in their never-ending quest to find something to talk about, take the position that what someone well known thinks carries more weight than your opinion or mine!

Well, I don't know about you, but I find my opinion often beats anything told to me by a celebrity!
