My mother (she's 95 and they don't let her drive anymore) wanted me to take her to the doctors and the grocery store today so I dutifully picked her up and took her to a Metro grocery store near where she lives.
She got a shopping cart and proceeded to go around the store, and I used her walker to sit on by the entrance..., so I could wait for her!
After sitting there for about ten minutes a young girl who worked at the store came over to this obviously older man sitting on a walker (me) and asked if I was alright..., and could she do anything for me! (Since I wasn't moving!)
I gave her a nice smile and said: "That's very nice of you to offer to help me..., but I'm just waiting for my mother! 😁
The look on her face was priceless!
