Here it was another bland, boring Wednesday afternoon here in the Great White North and the Mrs. Herself and I were wondering what to do with ourselves since we couldn't really go out on the town with that covid bug everywhere..., so we sat down to watch a bit of TV (this was about 12 - 1 o'clock) when all hell broke loose on the tube and thousands of people started running around Washington D.C. in the vicinity of the Capital building.
Well...... wasn't this just something that was almost custom-made to entertain us..., and for the next five or six hours we sat there transfixed to the screen and making bets on what was gonna happen next!
By late suppertime, things had settled down somewhat and order was restored in America..., so I'm now taking a few minutes to personally thank "The Donald" for an afternoon I would gladly have spent some good money for at the movies!
