I came up with a great idea that could be used on Google or Facebook or some other service..., but I don't know how to get the info to the right people. (If you can help with this please let me know. Otherwise, at least I have this memorialized so that there is a record of it!)
On Google Earth, or Google Maps or Facebook or whatever, have an app that lets you drill down to your neighbourhood or street and then access a "COMMUNITY BULLETIN BOARD" where you can leave messages or post important info about your neighbourhood or sell stuff or......... well, you get the idea!
