Airshow London, the lone event of its kind across Canada during this pandemic-altered year, takes to the skies over the city this weekend.
It's a sold-out event, set up in a drive-in format to keep Covid-appropriate distance between the expected 2,000 fans.
Londoners as far away as Byron (where I live) could hear the planes during Friday’s practice runs.
I think we will be seeing this "drive-in' format for all sorts of different events (like a church service) since it seems to work for the greatest number of events where people are prone to gather! (There will be no static-display where you can wander around the planes!)
Meanwhile, I'll be watching the skies over my house... but we're far enough away that we will probably only see them turning around here!
The way I see it anyway!
