While the United States government is pushing for less reliance on solar panels, wind turbines, and electric cars... they are pushing for more oil and gas production to... "Make America Great Again!" 

Canada is going full steam (sic) ahead with sustainable energy...! 

We had our "Perspective Research Department" fire up the... "Way Back Machine," ...and re-set it to take pictures of Toronto and New York City fifty years from now!!!!

MINE IS BIGGER THAN YOURS...

 I had a conversation with someone from Detroit the other day, and for some reason, they thought that Toronto and Motown were about the same size... 

Which I was quick to correct... 

I would put T.O. right in line with the Windy City...

AND WATCH OUT NEW YORK...

Which US city is closest to Toronto in size and population and culture?

Well, in size and population NYC is obviously the first while L.A. is second and Chicago is third... but right behind that is Toronto and then Houston!

As for culture, we have to look to the West Coast and come up with this statistic.

San Francisco (51% smaller size, 27% less populated, but closest ethnic match.) Downtown San Francisco buildings are, on average, shorter than in Toronto!
