A brown-skinned Palestinian Jew who gives free healthcare, feeds the hungry, forgives the prostitutes, tells those who live by the sword they shall die by the sword, kicks the bankers out of the church, tells the religious to render onto Ceasar that which is Ceasar's, who exhorts those who would be perfect to give what they have to the poor, and who says blessed are the peacemakers, the meek, and those who hunger and thirst for righteousness?

The Republicans would call him Antifa and nail him up again!

Here in the Great White North you can generally count on the news that you get in the media as being factual and not too far to the Left or Right......, BUT NOT IN THE UNITED STATES ANYMORE!

Months after the inauguration of President Joe Biden, One America News Network, a right-wing cable news channel available in some 35 million households, has continued to broadcast segments questioning the validity of the 2020 presidential election.

That segment was one in a spate of similar reports from a channel that has become a kind of Trump TV for the post-Trump age, an outlet whose reporting has aligned with the former president’s grievances at a time when he is barred from major social media platforms.

To go by much of OAN’s reporting, it is almost as if a transfer of power had never taken place. The channel did not broadcast live coverage of Biden’s swearing-in ceremony and inaugural address. 

Into April, news articles on the OAN website consistently referred to Donald Trump as “President Trump” and to Biden as just “Joe Biden” or “Biden.” That practice is not followed by other news organizations, including the OAN competitor Newsmax and Fox News, a conservative cable channel and news site.

“There are still serious doubts about who’s actually president,” OAN correspondent Pearson Sharp said in a March 28 report.

That segment was one in a spate of similar reports from a channel that has become a kind of Trump TV for the post-Trump age, an outlet whose reporting has aligned with the former president’s grievances at a time when he is barred from major social media platforms.

Some of OAN’s coverage has not had the full support of the staff. In interviews with 18 current and former OAN newsroom employees, 16 said the channel had broadcast reports that they considered misleading, inaccurate or untrue.

OAN has also promoted the debunked theory that the rioters who stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6 were left-wing agitators. Toward the end of a March 4 news segment that described the attack as the work of “Antifa” and “anti-Trump extremists” — and referred to the president as “Beijing Biden” — Sharp said, “History will show it was the Democrats, and not the Republicans, who called for this violence.” (Investigations have found no evidence that people who identify with Antifa, a loose collective of anti-fascist activists, were involved in the Capitol riot.)

Saturday Morning Confusion: The real truth about ANTIFA!

The Trump administration has been blaming a lot of the shit they do on a group called "ANTIFA." 

Every time somebody gets upset about stuff the Far Right is doing they perform a little pirouette and loudly proclaim..., THAT WAS ANTIFA!

Just to let you know what we're dealing with here I have included a description of what this "Left-Wing" group is all about..., and how they are not "terrorists" as Trump likes to call them!

Antifa is a left-wing anti-fascist and anti-racist political movement located in the United States. It is highly decentralized and comprises an array of autonomous groups that aim to achieve their objectives through the use of direct action rather than through policy reform. 

Much of antifa political activism is nonviolent, involving poster and flyer campaigns, mutual aid, delivering speeches, marching in protest, and community organizing. 

They also engage in protest tactics, seeking to combat fascists and racists such as neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other far-right extremists, and differing from other leftist opposition movements by their willingness to directly confront far-right activists, and in some cases law enforcement. This may involve digital activism, harassment, physical violence, and property damage against those whom they identify as belonging to the far right

There have been multiple efforts to discredit antifa groups via hoaxes on social media, many of them false flag attacks originating from alt-right and 4chan users posing as antifa backers on Twitter. Some hoaxes have been picked up and reported as fact by right-leaning media. During the George Floyd protests in May and June 2020, the Trump administration blamed antifa for orchestrating the mass protests whilein reality it was mostly right-wing groups!

There have been repeated calls by Donald Trump and William Barr to designate antifa as a terrorist organization despite the fact that it is not an organization.

This is a move that academics, legal experts, and others argue would exceed the authority of the presidency and violate the First Amendment. 

Several analyses, reports, and studies concluded that antifa is not a major domestic terrorism risk and ranked far-right extremism and white supremacy as the bigger risk.

So we see that ANTIFA is not the problem the Republicans claim it is..., but just the same it makes a good scapegoat for anything Trump wants to deflect from his own sins! 

The way I see it anyway!
