Just how smart are you?

 I was doing one of those trivia tests on the Internet and the question of what this was came up:

The correct answer was supposed to be rewinding a cassette tape, but the way the pencil is inserted into the tape here means you would have been forwarding the tape since they played from left to right in the machine.........!

AND:

It would be much faster to do what I did....., flip the cassette over and use the fast-forward!!!!!!!
