Saturday Morning Confusion: How the U.S. election will affect Canada!

I posted a few days ago that U.S. politics is a GREAT source of entertainment for Canadians! 

Although I hope Harris will win... a Drumpf victory would be a lot more entertaining over the next few years!!!

But... the 'Mrs. Herself' reminded me that Donald will slap a 20% tariff on all the stuff we send from Canada... decimating our car industry... and all the other commerce currently protected by the... "Son of NAFTA!" (Whatever they call it now!)

On top of that... (Here comes the good part, boys and girls!) what if Drumpf starts mass deporting illegal aliens...!

Of course... We have a problem if all those illegals decide to make a run for the NORTHERN border kids...! (As well as all those Democrats that might want to "get out" if Drumpf is elected!)

BUT! Being pragmatic Canadians... we solved the problem!

Fences Make Good Neighbours!

 Now that the election season is fully underway in the States, word has it that a lot of Republicans are talking about building a "Wall" on the Canadian border...!

The only trouble is... we already BUILT A WALL 😉a few years ago when things started to go funny down there!!!!

Blacks not allowed!

 It didn't occur to me until today, but with all those videos of the rioters in Washington, D.C. on January 6th I didn't see one black person in the crowds!

It was a whites-only party folks!

We've all become used to the narrative that Trump supporters are as prejudiced as he is..., but this realization of the January 6th riots really brought it home to me!

Oh, no one made any mention of the fact that blacks weren't allowed..., but the proof was in the pudding..., or should we say video!

Let's hope that this shameful episode of American history (Trump) is slowly drawing to a close so that we can once again stand beside our southern neighbours instead of closing the door to any contact..., covid or no covid!
