ALLAN'S CANADIAN PERSPECTIVE!

Some people have opinions, and some people have convictions......................! What we offer is PERSPECTIVE!

For example...

ALLAN's CANADIAN PERSPECTIVE!

THE LEFT WING IS CRAZY! THE RIGHT WING SCARES THE SHIT OUT OF ME!

"BioPanentheism"

“Conversations exploring politics... science... metaphysics...... and other unique ideas!”

"BioPanentheism holds that the "Divine/Omnia/Qualia" does not merely pervade the Universe abstractly... but "Experiences Reality" directly and vicariously through the emergence of complex "Biological Consciousness" ...making 'Life Itself' the Medium of "God’s (?) Awareness!"

BioPanentheism states that the Divine Spark, (?) and Biological Life are distinct but interdependent... (symbiotic) with the "Divine (?) Experiencing Reality Vicariously through Conscious Living Beings!" (Sentience is about experiencing... while Sapience is about understanding and reflecting on that experience!)

What Does it Mean to Be Human in an Amoral Universe?

Being Human in an Amoral Universe – Why I Wrote This Book!

What if the universe is indifferent—but life still matters?

The idea behind the book:

Modern science shows us a universe without built-in purpose or moral enforcement!

- Stars explode!

- Species go extinct!

- Storms don’t check if it's convenient for you!

Yet human beings still create morality, responsibility, and meaning!

My book Being Human in an Amoral Universe asks the obvious question:

If the universe is amoral, where do ethics and meaning come from?

The answer I explore is simple but important: Ethics come from biology... living minds building social rules... not from cosmic enforcement!

What the book argues:

  • Morality is biological. Humans evolved empathy, cooperation, and responsibility because social life requires them!
  • Experience is real. Whatever consciousness ultimately turns out to be, the fact of experience is undeniable!
  • Meaning is constructed. If the universe doesn’t impose purpose, we must build it ourselves!

This isn’t pessimism. It’s realism... and realism makes responsibility matter more... not less!

A Canadian perspective:

I wrote this from a Canadian viewpoint: practical, skeptical of slogans, and focused on what keeps a society functioning.

Canada works when we quietly do the hard work of compromise, responsibility, and restraint.

That’s also how meaning works in an indifferent universe.

No cosmic referee! Just us—and what we choose to build!

Who should read it!

  • Readers curious about consciousness and experience.
  • People tired of shallow culture-war answers.
  • Anyone wondering how ethics survives without supernatural certainty.
  • General readers who want philosophy in plain English.

Honest reviews help serious books find serious readers!

One clear conclusion:

The universe may be indifferent. But human experience is not!

We are the beings who experience!

We are the beings who choose!

And we are the beings who must help distribute the good... because the universe won’t do it for us!
