Paint it Black!

One of my favourite groups to bitch about are the Greenpeace tree-huggers since they are the left-wing politically correct crowd that always go overboard! (Get it? Greenpeace... ship... overboard! 😁)

Oh, I can't say I like fishermen clubbing baby seals but this is a drastic example of cruelty that is fairly rare in the grand scheme of things.

Even bitching about wind turbines because they kill cute little birds is rather overblown (Get it? Overblown!😁) 

Scientists have come up with a rather ingenious way to solve this problem.

The turbine has three blades on it and while they leave two of them silver they paint the third one black. (Pain it black?😉) 

This seems to frighten the little birdies away so the don't get their little noggins cracked by those big heavy, nasty blades!

Now since I am neither politically correct type of guy, nor a tree hugger, this story immediately brought to mind a poem I heard many years ago!

A birdie with a yellow bill

Hopped upon my window sill,

Cocked his shining eye and said,

"Ain't you 'shamed, you sleepyhead?"

I smiled at him so cheerfully 

and gave him a crust of bread, 

then quickly closed the window 

and crushed his fucking head.
