In an auto industry that lost nearly one-quarter of its volume through the first nine months of the year, “best sellers” don’t form the most illustrious group.
But!
In spite of lower numbers, there is another statistic that should raise a few eyebrows!
Have a look at the list and see if you can tell what it is.
10. Nissan Rogue: 18,410
9. Hyundai Kona: 19,614
8. Toyota Corolla: 25,879
7. Honda CR-V: 32,481
6. Honda Civic: 33,028
5. Chevrolet Silverado: 38,085
4. GMC Sierra: 39,260
3. Toyota RAV4: 41,610
2. Ram P/U: 63,237
1. Ford F-Series: 104,891
Now, did ya notice anything?
That's right, only two of them, a Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic were cars, the rest are SUV's or pickups.
Matter of fact car sales are so slow that Ford is dropping all their cars except for the mustang and concentrating on trucks and SUV'S instead!
The way I see it anyway!
