Is it true that the one time the USA fought Canada, Canada won?

 Although Canada wasn’t Canada at the time, the USA invaded us not just in the War of 1812 but during the American Revolution as well. 

Both times the Canadians, with the help of local militia, (and a few Brits) kicked their asses out. 

During the War of 1812 (started by the U.S.), we even set fire to the White House and several other buildings in Washington. (I see they have since re-built the White House......... it's very nice!)

Some other commenters have said the War of 1812 was a draw, the reality is that when one country invades another and then gets their asses kicked out it doesn’t take a genius to figure out who the winner and the loser were. 

Only the losers call it a draw.
