No. It’s more proof that Republicans are trying to make a one-party state. Let me explain.

Gary Hart had an affair. His career ended. John Edwards had an affair. His career ended. Anthony Weiner sent risqué photos. His career ended. Al Franken took a prank photo. His career ended. Rod Blagojevich tried to sell Obama’s Senate seat. He was impeached, removed, indicted, convicted, imprisoned, and hi career ended. Andrew Cuomo was accused of sexual harassment. His career ended. Because the Democrats don’t have a lot of tolerance for people who will bring the party down. That preserves the two-party system.

Now, let’s compare that to Republicans. Ollie North perjured himself to keep Reagan from being impeached. Both are Republican heroes. George Santos has lied about more things than I can remember and still has his seat. Six Republican Congressmen asked Trump for pardons for their roles in the January 6th insurrection and still have their seats. Donald Trump boasted that he is a pedophile, sex offender, and tax evader. is famous for having affairs, is famous for committing fraud, encouraging Russian interference in the 2016 election, committing at least ten acts of obstruction of justice to cover his actions, repeatedly violating the Emoluments Clause and the Hatch Act, attempting to bribe a foreign leader into helping him smear a political rival, obstructed Congress, tweeted a classified photo, violated the National Defense Authorization Act, asked states to manufacture fraudulent ballots for him, asked states to disregard the results of their elections and declare him the winner, tried to seat fake Electors, tried to prevent his loss from being certified, called for the Constitution to be terminated, stole classified documents and refused to return them, was found liable for a sexual assault, was indicted for financial crimes, was indicted for crimes related to stolen classified documents, and is still the Republican frontrunner. And he even commuted the sentence of the aforementioned Rod Blagojevich. None of these people would still be welcome in the Democratic Party. That’s the GOP trying to destroy themselves and create a single (Democratic) party state.
